Coup double de Van Vleuten / Van Vleuten : Double win
Les Nerlandaises nont pas fait dans la dentelle ce samedi 27 aot lors de la finale de la Coupe du monde avec une vague orange, qui a submerg leurs adversaires Plouay. Annemiek Van Vleuten, leader du classement par points, et Marianne Vos, sa dauphine, ont manoeuvr la perfection pour confirmer leurs positions.
La championne des Pays-Bas Vos sest sacrifie pour annihiler la grande offensive dEmma Pooley, dj double laurate en solitaire Plouay qui a t rejointe dans la cte de Ty-Marrec. Dans cette ascension finale, lAmricaine Evelyn Stevens, omniprsente en tte de course depuis le premier tour, a forc la dcision avec Van Vleuten sur son porte-bagages.
Il ny avait pas de plan secret, souligne la Hollandaise. Je ntais pas seule et on a fait un gros travail avec lquipe. Aprs quon est revenu sur Pooley, je suis alle sur tout ce qui bougeait. Jai ensuite pouss Stevens pour aller au bout. Jai apprci la prsence du public . La grande foule jamais vue pour ces dames Plouay depuis 2002 a assur une ovation pour Van Vleuten, qui a fait coup double devant Stevens avec sa victoire du jour et le gnral final de la Coupe du monde. Un succs complt par la 3e place de Marianne Vos Plouay derrire Evelyn Stevens.
Aprs avoir pris la tte en Sude, je me suis focalise sur cet objectif , note Annemiek Van Vleuten, qui a pu se jeter dans les bras de son directeur sportif Jeroen Blijlevens. Et recevoir le bouquet de Miss Morbihan Laura Rouarch lue laprs-midi dans le village des partenaires de Plouay.

Van Vleuten : Double win
With the help of Marianne Vos, Annemiek Van Vleuten, leader of the World Cup, has kept her position at the final ranking in front of Vos. During the afternoon of this 27th August, the Dutsch champion has made the job to avoid the big ofensive of Emma Pooley, who had already won twice alone in Plouay.
In the final climb Ty-Marrec, Evelyn Stevens, at the front of he race since the beginning, has attacked with Van Vleuten in her wheal. But the American girl could not react during the sprint with the Dutsch Superwoman. There was no secret plan, told Van Vleuten. The team made a big work. When we joined Emma Pooley, I only had to follow all the attacks. Then I pushed Stevens to go until the finish line. Im very happy to win in front of so many spectators. They made her a big ovation at the end for her double victory in Plouay. Marianne Vos added the Dutsch touch with the third place of the day behind Evelyn Stevens.
After swedish stage, I was focused on the final victory in the World Cup, explained Van Vleuten before enjoying in the arms of her manager Jeroen Blijlevens. And she received flowers from the hands of another winner in Plouay on this Saturday, Laura Rouarch, the new Miss Morbihan.
